Dear Dragon-Sailor,

The First International Dragon Classics Ascona 2009 will take place between
September 7 to 11, 2009. The Yacht-Club Ascona is proud to organize this
event for classic wooden dragons under the Patronage of the Swiss Dragon
Association and the International Dragon Association. 

Please find attached a flyer with more details which is also availabe on the
Homepage of the Swiss Dragon Association (

The program will also consider that this week shall not be a pure race week
but an enjoyable event. Wednesday is free e.g. for a trip to Milano; races
will start approximately at 2 p.m.; two races per day as a maximum. The
entrance fee will be EURO 250,00. 

We would recommend you to make Hotel reservations well in advance as
September is still high season in Ticino. 

For further information and/or pre-registrations please don’t hesitate to
contact us. Please distribute this information including flyer to other
dragon sailors who might be interested to participate. If you need hard
copies of the flyers, you can receive them from me. 

The final notice of race will be distributed next year (end of first
quarter/second quarter 2009) mainly via Internet/Mail.
